finally!

I finally have something to show for the purse I've had in the works since September. Here it is - tried, true, and handmade by me. Despite a few imperfections I am extremely happy with the finished product.

This bag is pretty much the perfect size. It's big enough to fit my planner, camera, wallet, cell phone, and other random items without being so large that they get lost. And how about his cute, little pocket?

HI, Karla,
You have got some serious talent. I love everything on here. When you decide to cash in on your talents let me know. I will purchase, throw parties, you name it. I hope you and Jeff are doing great. I will keep checking in on you whenever I take the time to fire up the ole computer. Take care&lots of love, Mindy (Knudsen)

Okay I went through your blog to see all your projects and, girl you have got skills! I wish I lived by you so you could teach me all your cool tricks.
Also, this has been some crazy presidential primary eh? We vote Tuesday, but it isn't as exciting now.
I miss you and I love your blog.

I think that i owe it to you and my sister-in-law that I have all these new itchings to be a crafty seamstress. Though I can't even pretend that my little brain can brainstorm the great projects you create, but I love watching yours unfold!!

I'm glad you all like the bag!

Melissa - I saw a bag I liked and browsed the pattern, but I modified my design and made it up as I went along.
