mmm...

In the past week I have made or helped make the following:

1. Buckeyes. I randomly found this recipe online a few years ago and LOVE it! If you are a fan of chocolate and peanut butter, this is a MUST try!

2. Dutch Oven Cobbler - we tried both Cherry Chocolate and Raspberry Chocolate. Sorry, no picture, but it was dee-licious!

3. Strawberry Turnovers. They turned out to be pretty good, but I'm not sure they were worth all the effort.

What are your favorite summer treats?

Love the pictures and the flowers! I didn't have the chance to say that those Buckeyes were so good at the Marler's BBQ! Thanks for the recipe. Summer treats I love: homemade pudding popsicles and recently I have been wanting to make Strawberry pretzel squares! Yum.

I am also a big fan of cobbler-my favorite is Peach but I am not very picky! I don't do dutch oven but I make it in the oven and it turns out wonderfully!

mmm...buckeyes. we have those at christmas. i have no clue why...especially because we freeze them solid in the freezer.

i'm a huge fan of homemade ice cream. especially when you get to dump a whole bottle of fudge into the mixture.

I'm so impressed, Karla (as always)! It's so fun to see what you come up with next. You're so talented. Do you get good watermelons in Idaho? That's my favorite summer treat- last summer Jason caught me a few times holding half of one, and eating straight out of it with a spoon :)
